36 Years of Innovation in Undersea Defence Technology

Now in its 36th edition, UDT remains the leading event for the global undersea defence community. Each year, the event showcases the latest advancements in undersea defence technology, from sub-sea to space, fostering collaboration among nations and local Ministries of Defence.

In 2025, UDT heads to Norway from 25-27 March for another groundbreaking event. UDT's niche focus aims to provide vital opportunities to meet with key decision makers, and with multiple Norwegian Defence organisations, such as Norwegian Defence International Centre (NODEFIC), which offers fundamental support to both the United Nations (UN) and NATO.

History of UDT

From its first edition under Clarion Defence in Cannes, France, to the next one in Oslo, Norway - UDT continues to grow.

Focus for 2025

UDT 2025, themed ‘Innovate, Collaborate, Deliver,’ will take place at NOVA Spektrum, Oslo, from 25-27 March 2025.

The event features a keynote, plenary panel discussions, technical seminars led by experts, and excellent networking opportunities.

It will also include an exhibition showcasing leading industry players and SMEs in maritime defence.

VIP and Delegation Programme

UDT’s VIP and Delegation Programme offers exclusive access for senior military figures, naval commanders, and government officials.

Supported by the host nation MOD and DSEI VIP teams, the programme ensures meaningful engagement with international counterparts and key exhibitors. VIPs can follow a structured schedule or explore the exhibition independently, connecting with relevant industry leaders.

Co-Location with IT²EC

For the second year, UDT will be co-located with IT²EC, a dedicated event from Clarion Defence's portfolio for defence training and technology.

This co-location fosters synergies for attendees from the military, government, academia, and industry, offering opportunities for networking, innovation, and partnership-building.
