43 and the Illusion of Communication: Why We Keep Losing Capability at the Seams

14 Apr 2026
Keynote Theatre
  1. Capability is often lost in conversation. The real gaps appear where engineers, operators and human specialists think they're aligned but aren't.

  2. 42 is only the right answer if we're asking the same question. When teams frame the problem differently, good insight still misses the mark.

  3. Communication is engineering. The clarity and timing of discussion shape outcomes as much as design or specification.

  4. Fixing misalignment in understanding and intent across multidisciplinary teams costs little but prevents capability leaking away unnoticed.
