Alan has worked in the field of Submarines Human Factors for 27 years and in Defence Human Factors for over 35 years. He has worked on 3 major submarine programmes ensuring human centred design is a priority consideration. Alan is a Fellow of the IET and CHIEF and also a BAE Systems Engineering Fellow.
