Alistair Garfoot is Director of Intelligence Architecture at Mind Foundry where he designs applications of AI technology across verticals. He joined Mind Foundry in 2018 after studying Machine Learning techniques for portfolio optimisation with Founder, Stephen Roberts at the University of Oxford.

Alistair combines understanding across technical, product and commercial disciplines to accelerate operational AI solutions. His cross-cutting understanding enables him to design systems which meet the needs of multiple stakeholders, working across teams and technology maturities. Alistair has defined and led strategy for a range of projects including explainable post mission analysis of RF data, edge based AI deployments on satellites, and end to end workflows for real time AI enabled sonar analysis.
