Emma Carline is an Acoustic Algorithm Developer at Ocean Sonics Ltd in Truro Heights, Nova Scotia. Her passion is creating new tools to extract knowledge from ocean acoustic data. She works with hydrophone arrays for sound detection and localization and enjoys the full development process from mathematical modelling to testing offshore. She holds a MSc in mathematics from Dalhousie University.
