He is a retired Submarine Commanding Officer, Captain (R), TUR Navy, who served for 27 years in active service. He received his MS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kocaeli University, an MA degree in strategy and leadership from Turkish &US Naval War College, and MBA degree in Human Resource Management from Strayer University.  He worked as a Subject Matter Expert at HAVELSAN and other defense sector companies
