Pertti Arvonen is CEO, co-founder and one of the designers in UWIS Oy. He is Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and he has worked in international business since 1994. UWIS Oy was founded at June 2014. Pertti is relatively young diver (AOWD) after starting his hobby inspired by this new innovation. The UWIS System has taken him to organize and participate in numerous diving events around the world for various diving purposes. Thus, he has gained insight into the needs of divers and how the UWIS System is able to help them. Pertti served as the project leader for two tasks in the CUIIS project (Comprehensive Underwater Intervention Information System, call EDIDP-UCCRS-2020): the 'Study of an Advanced Enhanced Underwater Communication and Information System (UWCIS)' and the 'Design of an Advanced Enhanced Underwater Communication and Information System (UWCIS).
