Dr. Peter Schumacher is the design lead of the Studio for Complex Human Environment Design (SCHED) in Adelaide University. SCHED uses human centered design processes and applied anthropometry for the design and assurance of submarine habitable spaces. The practice uses methods that have been tailored to suit the development of high intensity, high stakes, high human interaction, and advanced technology environments. Methods include interviews, user workshops, physical prototyping, computer modelling, applied anthropometry, biomechanics and collaborative VR environments.
