Dr Nouguès received a Ph.D. in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia, US. He joigned Sagem (now Safran Electronics & Defense) in 1997, where he has been responsible for the development of optronic systems for land and naval applications. He was in charge of the naval optronics R&D teams for surface ships and submarines. He is currently Senior Vice President of sales for the naval sector. Dr. Nouguès is a graduate of IHEDN (Institute for Advanced Studies in National Defense), 49th national session “Armament and Defense Economics”.
