  1. MAD is, and remains, an important ASW sensor, also in the fast evolving world of unmanned systems.

  2. REPMUS 2025 marked the first successful test of unmanned MAD using a VTOL UAV.

  3. Enabled by strong international collaboration, the trial lays the groundwork for a future operational unmanned MAD capability.

  4. The next challenge is to integrate unmanned MAD into the broader ASW operations.
