Alex Fox a dual-use technology executive and former foreign policy and security professional. He is currently Commercial Director in the technology and government division of Ocean. Infinity, a global leader in maritime autonomy and robotics. Alex has a varied national security career including 15 years in the Middle East working on cyber-security, counter-terrorism, counter-proliferation and regional affairs. He served in Iraq, North and East Africa and Saudi Arabia. He speaks Arabic. He advised the UK National Security Council as Deputy Chief of Assessments for state threats, including Iran. He was Managing Partner of the UK’s advanced dual-use technology investment organisation, the National Security Strategic Investment Fund (NSSIF) . Alex advises a multi-stage venture capital investment fund and governments seeking to build national security investment funds. Alex has a degrees from Oxford, Cambridge and Harvard University, where he was a John F. Kennedy Memorial Scholar.
