Emilie Åberg is the CEO and founder of Havguard AS, a pioneering deep-tech company at the forefront of underwater communication and sensing innovations.

Havguard is focused on developing reliable and secure full-link solutions that extend from the seabed to space. Since its founding in January 2023, the company has achieved notable milestones, including being selected for the US Navy/401 Tech Bridge BlueTIDE cohort, featured on NATO HQ's panel for disruptive technologies, and handpicked for prestigious entrepreneurial programs such as CDL Atlantic Ocean and MassChallenge BlueTech in both the US and Canada.

With a solid scientific and strategic foundation from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Emilie has built her career on a blend of academic rigor and entrepreneurial vision. During her PhD studies, she participated in the Nordic Innovation and Entrepreneurship program, a collaboration between Norway, Denmark, and Sweden.

Emilie has recently completed specialized courses at King’s College of Applied Security Studies, with a focus on AI for National Security and Wargaming & Strategy. She was also honored with a top-three award in the E24 Norwegian Young Leadership Talents 2024.
