Francis Mobbs is CEO and founder of Voxmar, a startup developing resilient maritime communications infrastructure using specialised autonomous surface vessels as deployable network nodes for operations in contested and degraded environments. He previously worked at Bloomberg as a financial analyst covering European satellite and telecom operators, and earlier sailed most of the globe as a professional skipper. Francis holds an MSc in Naval Architecture from Delft University of Technology and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
